About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Channels & CBS Operations Manager responsible for the operational management, stability, security, and control of the Bank's Core Banking System (CBS) and digital banking platforms, including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, APIs, payment gateways, and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations, stability, and performance of the Bank's Core Banking System (CBS), ensuring accurate transaction processing and successful End-of-Day (EOD) and End-of-Month (EOM) operations.
  • Oversee the operational performance, availability, and reliability of all digital banking channels, including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, APIs, payment gateways, and merchant platforms.
  • Monitor system performance, transaction flows, and operational incidents, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management, system upgrades, and controlled production releases for CBS and digital banking platforms.
  • Ensure robust operational controls, including maker-checker workflows, role-based access management, segregation of duties, and system governance.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational manuals, process documentation, and control checklists that meet audit and regulatory standards.
  • Manage user access and entitlement reviews across CBS and digital platforms, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with IT teams, CBS vendors, fintech partners, and business units to support system enhancements, new product launches, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR) testing, operational resilience, and technology risk management activities.
  • Lead and develop the CBS and Digital Operations team, fostering a culture of operational excellence, accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Banking, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Core Banking Operations, Digital Banking Platforms, Banking Systems Support, or Technology Operations within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Tier-1 Core Banking Systems such as Temenos (T24/Transact), Finacle, Flexcube, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital banking channels, payment systems, operational risk, technology governance, and system controls.
  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management, release management, and production support.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, customer transaction processing, and technology governance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.
